What I Base My Ethical Decisions On Today

Everyone is special because of the background they have. These are the main factors that made my path of life up.

The main factor that influenced my way of thinking is my country China. I was born in China and lived there for 15 years. I was affected by everything that happened around me, especially the education I took. For the class politics, the only thing we could do was listening to the teacher, there was no chance for us to think, to speak. We have to memorize all the things in the textbook. So more or less, I was influenced by the textbook about the advantage of the Republicans and the political opinion of the supporters of the Republicans. I was also affected by the social environment of China. There were many unfair matters happened even in school. The cheating students and teachers made together to get a better grade in High School Admission tests… These may make me think it is normal to do something that is immoral.

Family situation is also a part of my background. I am an Only Child of my family. My parents gave me all their love. So my math teacher said I was kind of individual-centered and I aware that. My grandpa passed me by two years ago. He was the person who treated me the best. This made me afraid to lose something else and sometimes I am very negative and worried. And the homesick when I first came here made it even worse.

I am an imaginative person. I believed some of the stories that the other people think is ridiculous. Like I believe the entrance of the train station of Harry Potter exist when you really believe it and not suspect it.

I start thinking about the meaning of the life for almost two years. Now I believe life’s meaning is make yourself happy. It has many ways. It all depends on the life-value that people believe. Some may be happy if somebody gave he a candy, some may be happy when he made a contribution to the society. This is my life value.

My ethical decision mainly based on the culture, the experience I have and my character. These made everyone special.
